Vessel Owners
At BoatWork, we take pride in a recruitment process that prioritises quality, safety, and the long-term success of both our clients and our seafarers. We would rather forgo payment than compromise on crew quality and here’s how we make sure every placement is the right one:
Understanding your needs
For companies, we start by gaining a deep understanding of your specific requirements, team dynamics, and safety culture. For seafarers, we focus on their skills, career goals, and preferred work environments to match them with roles that align with their experience and aspirations.
Rigorous Screening
All candidates undergo a comprehensive vetting process that goes beyond checking certificates. We assess each individual’s hands-on experience, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in high-stakes environments. We will ask them task related questions and thoroughly inspect references. This ensures that only reliable, qualified, experienced and safety-conscious seafarers are placed in your team.
Making the right match
Our commitment is to pair skilled seafarers with reputable, safety-conscious companies. We carefully consider factors like team fit, company reputation, and operational standards to ensure every placement supports a productive and safe working environment.
Supporting fair pay and growth
At BoatWork, we work with both parties to secure fair rates that respect the skill and commitment of our seafarers. We advocate for competitive compensation and a positive work culture that values your contributions and encourages growth.
Ongoing Support and Communication
Our job doesn’t end with placement. We maintain open communication with both our clients and seafarers, ensuring every experience meets expectations, adjusting as needs evolve. BoatWork is here to support your success, every step of the way.
Payment
We charge a one-time fee only after a successful placement, once the boat owner has reviewed the CV, conducted a meeting and finalised an SEA contract.
